New Studio PlayReactive Announces Launch Exhibition
for immediate consumption and release
Melbourne, Australia: PlayReactive, a new play-making studio, announced today an exhibition of games celebrating their launch. The exhibition takes place at Collingwood bar cum gallery space BAR SK from August 3rd to 16th.
PlayReactive brings charming and unique interactive experiences to life across a wide variety of media, from videogames to installation art to escape rooms. The multidisciplinary team of young creatives is led by award-winning designer Lee Shang Lun, who previously created the cult classic iPhone puzzle game Stickets.
The launch exhibition features works previously showcased in London, Kuala Lumpur, and across Australia, as well as several new games and works-in-progress. The diverse lineup includes pieces such as Telephone, a curious interactive object; Bosswords, an infuriatingly good word game; and The Shuttle, a short preview of a ticketed immersive experience set to open later this year.
If you're interested in the collision of arts and games, this is an exhibition not to be missed.
Exhibition Dates: 3 – 16 August 2017
Location: BAR SK, 90 Smith St, Collingwood
Opening Hours: 1 PM – 1 AM, Tuesdays – Sundays
